Pen Instructions & Care

How to open the pen, fit and remove a needle, and store it.

  • Open the pen

    Pull the cap straight off.

  • Prepare the injection area

    Wipe the injection area.

  • Attach the needle

    Twist the needle on until it is tight.

  • Set the required dose

    Set the clicks to the required dose.

  • Remove both needle caps

    Take off the larger outer cap and the smaller cap.

  • Administer the injection

    Inject into fat tissue and push down the button.

  • Replace the outer needle cap

    Put the outer cap back on.

  • Remove and dispose of the needle

    Unscrew the needle and dispose of it in a sharps container.

  • Replace the pen cap

    Press the cap back on.

  • Storage

    Store the pen in the fridge.
